Terms & Conditions
At Foundation, every appointment is carefully reserved to allow for personalised, doctor-led care. These terms are designed to ensure a seamless experience for every patient and to protect the integrity of your treatment journey. By booking an appointment, consultation, treatment, or membership with Foundation Studio, you agree to the terms below.
1. Appointments & Bookings
Appointments may be made via our website, email, telephone, or approved booking platform and are offered on a first-come, first-served basis. Your appointment time is reserved exclusively for you. Once booked, you will receive confirmation details and any required medical or consent forms. These must be completed prior to your appointment to allow adequate time for clinical review and preparation. Foundation reserves the right to postpone or decline treatment if pre-treatment documentation has not been completed.
Please inform us in advance of:
- any medical conditions
- medications
- allergies
- pregnancy or breastfeeding
- recent aesthetic treatments
- upcoming major social events, holidays, or flights
Certain treatments may not be suitable within 2–6 weeks of important events due to the possibility of swelling, bruising, redness, or downtime. Suitability for treatment is always determined following clinical consultation.
2. Consultation Fees & Deposits
A non-refundable consultation fee / treatment deposit of £75 is required to secure all bookings. This amount is redeemable against treatment where applicable and will be deducted from the final balance on the day of your appointment. Bookings are not confirmed until payment has been received. If, following consultation, treatment is deemed unsuitable or you decide not to proceed, the fee remains payable as the consultation service has been provided.
3. Cancellations & Rescheduling
We kindly require a minimum of 72 hours’ notice for cancellations or appointment changes. Appointments cancelled or rescheduled with less than 72 hours’ notice will result in the deposit being forfeited. Missed appointments or failure to attend without notice will be treated as a late cancellation. Repeated missed appointments may require full prepayment for future bookings. This policy allows us to protect appointment availability for other patients and maintain the quality of our service.
4. Late Arrivals
Please arrive on time for your appointment. Patients arriving more than 15 minutes late may need to be rescheduled and the deposit may be forfeited. This is to ensure the clinical schedule remains fair to all patients.
5. Treatment Suitability
All treatments are subject to medical suitability. As a doctor-led clinic, patient safety and evidence-based practice remain central to every recommendation. Foundation reserves the right to refuse treatment where it is not clinically appropriate, medically safe, or aligned with natural, long-term outcomes. This includes cases where:
- medical history raises contraindications
- expectations are unrealistic
- treatment is not in the patient’s best interests
- aftercare compliance is unlikely
6. Results & Expectations
All aesthetic treatments carry natural variation in response. Results are influenced by factors including:
- anatomy
- skin quality
- lifestyle
- age
- healing response
- adherence to aftercare
For this reason, results cannot be guaranteed. Before-and-after images are provided for illustrative purposes only and do not constitute a promise of identical outcomes.
7. Review Appointments
Where clinically indicated, review appointments are recommended 2–4 weeks post-treatment, depending on the procedure. Any decision regarding adjustment or additional treatment is made solely at the discretion of the treating clinician. Failure to attend the recommended review window may mean adjustments are no longer clinically appropriate.
8. Aftercare & Complications
All aftercare advice provided must be followed carefully. Foundation cannot accept liability for complications arising from failure to follow aftercare instructions. While complications are uncommon, all aesthetic procedures carry recognised risks including but not limited to:
- swelling
- bruising
- tenderness
- redness
- asymmetry
- delayed healing
- vascular complications
- infection
Patients must contact the clinic promptly if they experience unexpected symptoms. Urgent aftercare contact details will be provided where clinically necessary.
9. Membership Terms — The Foundation Society
The Foundation Society is a 12-month treatment membership programme. By enrolling, members commit to the agreed minimum term of 12 consecutive months. Membership benefits, treatments, discounts, and inclusions are outlined at the point of sign-up. Missed monthly appointments may not roll over unless expressly agreed in writing. Memberships may only be paused or amended at the discretion of Foundation in exceptional circumstances, including medical reasons. Early termination before completion of the 12-month term may require repayment of any preferential pricing, discounts, or included benefits already received.
10. Refunds
Consultation fees, deposits, and completed treatments are non-refundable. Due to the nature of medical aesthetic services and prescription products, refunds are not offered once treatment has been carried out. Skincare products may only be returned if faulty or damaged.
11. Website Use
All content on this website, including text, branding, design, graphics, and imagery, is the intellectual property of Foundation Studio Ltd unless otherwise stated. Content may not be copied, reproduced, distributed, or used without prior written permission. Website information is intended for general educational purposes and does not replace individual medical consultation.
12. Liability
Foundation shall not be liable for indirect, consequential, or incidental losses arising from treatment, website use, or delayed appointments. Nothing within these terms excludes liability for negligence where prohibited by law.
